At HN Painting Services, we are committed to providing top-quality painting services and ensuring customer satisfaction. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances may arise where cancellations or refunds are necessary. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds to protect both the customer and the company.
1. Cancellation Policy
Client-Initiated Cancellations
Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled service date will result in a 50% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled service date are non-refundable. The full deposit will be retained to cover scheduling and planning costs.
Company-Initiated Cancellations
If HN Painting Services needs to cancel the job due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, staffing issues, etc.), the client will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund of any deposits will be issued, or the client will have the option to reschedule at a mutually agreeable date.
2. Refund Policy
Unsatisfactory Service
We are dedicated to delivering high-quality results. If the client is unsatisfied with the final outcome, they must notify us within 72 hours of project completion. We will review the concerns and make reasonable efforts to address the issue through touch-ups or corrections at no additional cost.
Refunds will only be considered if, after two attempts at rectifying the issue, the client remains unsatisfied, and will be issued at the company's discretion, based on the amount of work already completed.
Material & Paint Refunds
Custom paint orders or specialty materials are non-refundable once purchased, as these items are ordered specifically for each job.
Any standard materials returned in their original condition may be eligible for a partial refund, deducting a restocking fee of 10%.
3. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required upon booking to secure your service date.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work and satisfaction with the final result, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract.
4. Project Delays & Rescheduling
HN Painting Services reserves the right to reschedule jobs due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or emergencies. In such cases, we will notify the client promptly and reschedule the service for the earliest possible date.
If a client requests to reschedule, they must notify us at least 7 days in advance to avoid forfeiting their deposit. Rescheduling requests made with less than 7 days' notice may incur an additional fee.
5. Force Majeure
HN Painting Services is not liable for any delays or cancellations due to events outside our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with the client to reschedule at a mutually agreeable date.
6. Agreement
By booking a service with HN Painting Services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this refund and cancellation policy. This policy forms part of the terms and conditions of the service contract.
